Combining the power of INRIA's Scilab with a deterministic Linux real-time system was the plea of many users in the field of modeling, simulation, data acquisition, industrial control, HIL, SIL and rapid prototyping. SCALE-RT by COSATEQ has united Scilab with several other software tools to create a scalable, flexible and powerful package to make it very easy for the professional developer to add real-time functionality to Scicos models.

Execution on Real-time Linux:
The SCALE-RT Linux is based on the Debian Linux distribution and includes the Xenomai real-time extension. It allows models developed within the SCALE-RT cross-development environment to be executed in real-time. A Live-CD makes the environment easy-to-use on any standard PC hardware. More
